This place is great. We got so many ideas for what to do with our front yard, and the pretty flowers here are endless. Lots of trees, grasses, bushes, and flowers. They also had some layouts for stones and other things you can design for your own space. We also liked that they had free classes available to learn about different aspects of maintaining a yard space. We will absolutely be back here and we appreciate all of the education we got out of this short trip.

Took their tour centered around water conservation. Our guide was excellent, courteous, happy to answer questions and very knowledgeable. The garden itself is an excellent showcase of permaculture plants and yard feature ideas. Me and my GF plan to go back to have a picnic date very soon.

This is a wonderful resource for everyone in the Salt Lake City valley. They're focus on plants that are water wise is an excellent resource. They also help with understanding irrigation. The people who work or volunteer there were extremely nice. We went in the middle of April after a warm winter. Some of the plants were blooming while others were still dormant. This was still a good experience because you were able to see what the plants would look like in the off-season. They also have patches of different grasses where you could see the difference and how they would look like in their off-season. It is worth going there more than once to see how the plants will look at different times of the year. This being a free resource was an excellent idea by the Jordan valley water district.

Beautiful and peaceful place to spend time outdoors. The gardens are well-maintained, and there’s a great mix of walking paths, greenery, and scenic spots to relax or take photos. It’s perfect for clearing your mind, enjoying nature, or just slowing down for a bit. Everything felt clean and well cared for. Definitely worth visiting if you’re in the areaβ€”I’ll be coming back.

This is one of my favorite places to go! I'm a huge nature person and I love seeing all the different types of flowers, trees, and bushes planted in this garden throughout the year. And it's all done while conserving water! The signs around the garden talk about how water conservation works and even give tips for those who want a water-conserving lawn. There's even a giant chess set that you can play with. :) I usually come here to meditate and just walk around on a nice quiet day, and I love looking at the different flowers. Keep in mind that the garden is closed on Sundays and holidays, so you'll want to plan around that. ***UPDATE: I was just informed that the garden is open on some holidays, just thought I'd put that here. :)
